PHILOSOPHY
Magic Kingdom of Sheepshead Bay Day Care’s goal is to lead, serve and guide the children
of our community and surrounding communities by providing quality education through strong teacher commitment, qualifications, and experience in a safe and nurturing learning environment that celebrates the diversity of all of our families. We believe that children of various abilities, even developmentally on track with ages and stages have a special need for safe and nurturing environment.

MISSION
Here at Magic Kingdom we work diligently to provide a quality educational facility for the
children that attend our center. In implementing a holistic, child centered program that nurtures every child, we have the best tools in achieving our educational goals. The early years of a child are the most influential years for language development. Together with the assistance of our qualified teachers, staff members, parents and the community authorities we will supply valuable educational skills that are essential for our children's future.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Our goal and objective is to motivate and create strong self image in each of our students. We provide quality education through resources necessary to achieve cognitive development,personalinteractions and the motivation to learn. Provide a comprehensive, interdisciplinary program fostering cognitive, intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of children & their families that remedies problems through a broad range educational, social, health & nutrition services & activities so that children are ready for school. We strive to involve the entire family, as the most influential component of a child's life and assists families to resolve economic, social and related problems affecting them.

We strive for our children to achieve high expectations and outcomes for Kindergarten, Elementary and High School, advanced training and successful careers, so they thrive not merely survive. We seek to establish optimum communication with families to assist the children to achieve positive outcomes and secure adequate connection and collaboration with organizations in the community to assist program staff in meeting the needs of families and their children. We engage in collaborative teaching & professional development, using essential practices of family engagement, rigorous & developmentally appropriate instruction, professional collaborations, and leadership.

Establish patterns and expectations of success for the child, which creates confidence and self-esteem for present and future learning efforts and overall development. We seek to empower families and increase their self-sufficiency and independence by providing or securing the information and referral for entitlements, educational and job-skills training and workforce development with community involvement.

Nutrition
Magic Kingdom provides breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. Menus are prepared and posted weekly, but may be subject to change. All meals are prepared in accordance to nutritional guidelines. Magic Kingdom strives to serve meals and snacks that are low in sugar and uses lean white meat and whole grains whenever possible.
